APISU has long held the tradition of hosting a an event
where the culture of the Pacific Islands can be showcased. This year will be
the 8th Annual Lu'au, an evening of food, song, dance, stories, and activities.
Members of APISU as well as the surrounding community will showcase their
knowledge and understanding of the culture through song, dance, and
The program will take you through various cultures showing
how they are similar and how they are different. We will honor our graduating
class as they move on to the rest of their lives as well as welcome our new
leaders for the coming year. We wish to welcome you into a safe space
where you too can learn this beautiful culture or share your stories with us
and the community.
Food will be catered by Cafe Pacific. The menu will include
Huli Huli Chicken, Kalua Pork, Sweer and Sour Ribs, Potato nd Macaroni Salad,
Hawaiian Rolls, Fruit Salad, and Pinapple Cake. A variety will be included
as well. The cost of the ticket covers the food and showcase.
Please note: High School and middle school students can bring ID the day of the event for a
reduced price at the door. Full price without valid School ID.
